How to free a seized or rounded line nut on brake, fuel and turbo oil lines

A seized line nut is freed in order: clean, soak, flare-nut wrench, tighten a touch first. If the pipe turns or the nut rounds off, cut and replace the pipe.

Can you repair a hydraulic hose? When a repair is acceptable and when it is not

A hydraulic hose is not patched or spliced. Used ends stay out of a new assembly; tape and clamps are for low-pressure hose only, until it is changed.

Tube bend radius: minimum radius, ovality and wall thinning

How to bleed a diesel fuel system after a filter or line change

Mechanical pump: bleed screw, hand primer, then the line nuts. Common rail: the electric pump fills the system and the high-pressure lines stay tight.
