RSS Kumru Otomotiv is a manufacturer founded in 1990 and specialised in hydraulic systems and fluid management. It produces turbo oil lines, injection pipes, hydraulic pipes and hoses, and fittings at its own plant in Gebze, Türkiye.

What we do
Our production is carried out in two areas. For original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), we manufacture lines and fittings to technical drawing for use in newly developed vehicles and machinery. For the aftermarket, we offer a range of more than 2,600 OEM-referenced parts, and we develop new parts from technical drawings or samples.
Tube bending, tube end forming, CNC turning and machining, and hose cutting and crimping are carried out under one roof. Parts are measured in our own laboratory, and hoses are pressure tested.
Our products are supplied to vehicle and machinery manufacturers, spare parts distributors and wholesalers. Our export markets are Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Sweden in Europe and, beyond Europe, the United States, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Iran.

History
Resul Kumru founded the company in Istanbul. Production began with diesel injection lines for tractors and brake pipes for passenger cars.
The second generation, Selami and Süleyman Kumru, took over management. Production moved into hydraulic and fuel transfer systems.
The range was extended with hydraulic power steering hoses for European passenger cars and hand pumps for construction machinery.
The first military vehicle application was developed, and fuel injection lines were made for tractor manufacturers.
Production of ship fuel and hydraulic lines for marine applications began.
Production of hydraulic hoses and fluid lines for forklifts and material handling equipment began.
The company moved to the 3,500 m² plant in Gebze, Kocaeli, and strengthened its quality management processes.
The company was restructured as RSS Kumru Otomotiv.
Production continued without interruption through the pandemic, and export activity expanded.
The company joined SAHA Istanbul, Türkiye's defense and aerospace cluster.
The online store opened, and products went on sale online.
